        Competition Day 1

        Donegal Golf Club (Murvagh) (1959) - 6,764 yards - Par 73

Donegal Golf Club, founded in 1959 and redesigned by Eddie Hackett in the early 1970s, is a majestic links set on the scenic Murvagh Peninsula in County Donegal. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and Donegal Bay, the course stretches across a vast, windswept landscape of dunes and coastal grasses. Refined by Pat Ruddy and praised by many as one of Ireland’s best hidden gems, Murvagh combines strategic challenge with breathtaking beauty, offering a pure and memorable links experience.

        Competition Day 2

        Enniscrone Golf Club (The Dunes) (1918) - 7,033 yards - Par 73

Enniscrone Golf Club, founded in 1918 and redesigned by Eddie Hackett in the 1970s, delivers a thrilling links experience through some of the most dramatic dunes in Ireland. Later refined by Donald Steel, the course weaves through towering sand hills and wild Atlantic vistas with stunning natural flow. Consistently ranked among Ireland’s top links courses and a frequent host of prestigious amateur events, Enniscrone is remote, rugged, and links golf in its most exhilarating and elemental form.

        Competition Day 3

        Carne Golf Links (1992) - 27 holes (3 x 9)

Carne Golf Links, Carne Golf Links, founded in 1992 and designed by Eddie Hackett in his final and most natural work, offers a wild and untamed links experience on Ireland’s remote northwest coast. Set among some of the world’s largest dunes in County Mayo, Carne features 27 spectacular holes—Hackett’s original 18, and the newer Kilmore nine, designed by Ally McIntosh, which adds even more drama and elevation to the landscape. Widely celebrated as one of the most authentic links experiences in golf and consistently ranked among Ireland’s top courses, Carne is links golf at its most dramatic and elemental.
